Yes - they were on the car when I bought it in 2005 - I assumed they came from the 928 - as I have seen this on their bumpers and it appears to be about the same size. Either that or someone custom made the lettering decal. They are not perfectly set so I do not think it was a factory or Dealer add. But from 5 feet away they do look nice.
I wonder if the raised lettering offered by this website for the 928 will fit for our 968s?

Anyone ever tried this?

Sorry,

My previous post did not have a hyper link so here it is:

Hopefully the decals will fit on a 968 does anyone know if it's even the same imprint size?

Jeff, have you posted a list of the "1 of 1"'s around somewhere...wasn't sure how many "unique" 968's were built.

I'll post answers to any question asked. So, are you asking about exterior color only? If so, below are the 1 of 1s by exterior color (ncluding paint code) and body style. If you factor in interior color (and top colors) there are more 1 of 1s.

North American 968 1 of 1 coupes
S8 Riviera Blue
56 Marine Blue metallic
58 Tahoe Blue metallic
98 Color to sample solid

North American 968 1 of 1 cabs
F2 Maritime Blue
N4 Mint green (I've seen that car )
G4 Rubystone red
50 Satin Black metallic
57 Violet Blue metallic
59 Turquoise metallic
98 Color to sample solid (this car is in the Porsche museum in Germany)
