Wimbleden Green.
This pic was taken after the May event in much better conditions. Note the conage on right front (not me, my student!) and the high speed bugs.

Are you aware of other 968s of Wimbleden Green? Unusual color. Is it rare?

Is there a chart listing how many 968s of different colors were made? I'm guessing that probably Guards Red, Black, White are the most common (not sure what order) and other colors follow...and perhaps there were some special order colors?

BTW, the fotos attached are 928s being produced at the factory....scarce fotos that just surfaced.

Default what the....

What the heck is the guy doing sitting in the passenger's side? It looks like there is someone else in there too with their arm around his neck.

This is first year production of the 928. I think he's just taking a a "first ride" or maybe having lunch.

BTW, this is proof these cars were largely handbuilt.

We had a Wimbledown Green car at Hershey a few years ago, Oak Green is pretty rare as well.

The only know databases are enthusiast collected, Jeff C has one with quite a few cab colors listed.

Graham Rippel has been keeping a database of M030 cars as well.

Hmmm, not sure why there's the URL instead of the picture? Oh well, just click on the URL.
