Well, there is good news and there is bad news. Good news 1st, I finally got a quote back from Porsche. Bad news, euro=1.31 us $$, which is not good.
So, the splitters and spoilers are available. Anyone interested, please PM me and I will give you a price. No tire kickers please, serious buyers only.
Thanks.

Hi Raj,

Please let me know the price for the rear adjustable spoiler. These are legal for PCA club racing and I'd like to add one to my 968 racer before the Spring.

Also, do you or Konstatin, or anyone else here know whether power steering delete was an option on any of the 968's (other than the few factory or firehawk race cars). E.g., "the club sport" cars that were sold in europe?

Thanks for your help.

Richard, I will shoot you a PM with price. I guess you want to figure out if they would be legal?

Raj,

The adjustable rear spoiler IS legal for PCA "F" stock class. In fact, I know of a 924S that runs in "I" and has the 968 adjustable rear spoiler.

Ciao!

Power steering was standard equipment on 968 CS and there was no delete option.

Thanks, Thom. That's kind of what I thought, but I couldn't find the specs (and options) for the 968 CS.

This is the last time I plan on doing this in case you are on the fence. I will put the order in on monday and everyone should have their orders within a month.

is this the same splitter we have been getting, or is it the cool one piece one that porsche offered that deletes the front apron? i love that one, but gert can't seem to find a part number for it yet

i certainly understand about not wanting to do this again - it's a lot of work repackaging everything and shipping it - been there done that - besides, i want to be careful how many things i import - customs red flags are a bummer - the tax problems a real drag too - and then there's the whole "porsche importer" issue to deal with - they can be pretty nasty - just ask ralph boothe - i'm steering clear of all that

i think it's painfully ironic that every time a splitter order gets together the euro rate sucks - would have been nice for this to have happened when the dollar was stronger - at 350 euros each in single order, and 335 for 6, for the one we have been getting, it gets pretty pricey by the time it gets here once you add the individual shipping on - the good news is that 6 get shipped for almost exactly the same price as 1, so with the multiple unit order, and the shipping savings, people can go from a net of about 520 to as low as 470 by grouping it up - nice - group buys can be cool indeed
