Leave it my buddy Tom to rib me about having so few posts.

Jeez.. i was a lister since the beginning... and a very frequent contributor on the lists. When the forums took over the bulk of the traffic... I somehow did not follow onto them but still frequented the lists.

Now that the lists don't get too much traffic... I guess it is time for me to be more active in the forums!

Actually, the number of posts has nothing to do with it as I'm sure you know. Both Jim and I were initial monetary contributors to Rennlist, a.k.a., Porschelist in the good ol' days. For this we were rewarded with lifetime memberships. It wasn't something we asked for or knew about, it was just John D's way of thanking a lot of people for helping make Rennlist a reality.

Raj, thanks.

I assume that retroffiting this roller to any non-S2 944 using the spring tensioner would do more good than bad ...
Would that be a good move on, say, a 3.0 8V turbo application (using the spring tensioner of course) ?

I know I am currently not using it on my turbo but I can't see it hurting anything. After all Porsche put them on most spring loaded tensioner cars.

I had Sunset send me a full set of rollers for my 968 and they inluded this roller which has no place to mount.

Question? What can I do with the brand new roller that is not meant for 968s but is sold by the dealers to us anyway? What else does it fit?

Return it. They will take it back for a full refund. I have done that a few times.
