Default Lost my antifreeze and started to overheat.

My car is a 94 968, when driving home last night I noticed the temp guage starting to climb, I promptly got off the road and shut it down.

Upon inspection I found the leak, it is a rubber plug and rubber cap held on with a clamp on the passenger side upper part of the radiator. The cap had dry rotted and torn under the pressure.

My guess is that this is where a bypass hose or something for the 951 would be but I'm not sure. I managed to get a piece of hose with a larger bolt, 2 clamps, and bled it on the side of the road and was able to get it home.

I need to find the part mentioned above, name and number so I can locate one.

Thanks,

I think I found the part # for the cap , I don't know if it comes with the plug but here's the number
944 106 103 02 fortunately I still have my plug.

Attached is a pdf with the part being # 36
