Disconnect original 968 alarm
A friend of mine have problems with factory original 1992 968 alarm system. Have any of you removed the original system? My friend want to install modern system. What is the easiest way to disconnect original alarm?

I don't know the answer but my 94 cab alarm system goes off on its' own constantly. I can lock it from passenger door and it seems to help. Does anyone know what could be wrong, and if not I would like to just disable it.

Clarks Garage (www.clarks-garage.com) has a page showing how to bypass the alarm. With that wiring diagram you may be able to determine the best method for replacement.
