Default How many 968s?

Does anyone know how many 968s were sold worldwide? Sold in the US? Estimate of how many might be still on the road?

In case it's of any assistance, I've put together a single page of 968 statistics and information at-
http://www.studiodual.com/968/968.html

It has the information you wanted, plus specs and other stuff.

Those are great sites! Thanks much!

I suspect there's not way of telling how many remain on the road but either way, the 968 is an uncommon car. That should give it some additional residual value as compared to the higher production cars.

I saw something awhile back indicating that 12,776 968s were made worldwide.

968s are Rare Porsches in Seattle. I attended a PCA Driver Skill day yesterday and there were two 968 Cabs. Everyone was interested in our two cars and many commented that it was rare to see one and great to have two in any event. I have only had mine for 6 months and only know of 4 total in the area though there may be a few more tucked away in barns. Unlike boxsters that or found in evry used car lot in the area.

John - thanks for the neat link!
