are the headlights identical? Do they both have the same part number?

Default are the headlights identical? Do they both have the same part number?
in the market for a driver's side headlight (and the lifting mechanism). Just wondering... are the front headlights the same? or are they different from side to side.

i just went through this - sunset told me porsche has now superceeded one of the numbers, and they now only have one light for both sides

FWIW, my friend Jordi says they're the exact same lenses as on the VW Golf.

They have a much nicer pattern and cut-off than my 944 did... easy to aim for good vision without blinding oncoming traffic.

That, and independent "flash to pass"... I really like the 968 lighting system.
