Tire sizes for 7.5 & 9x17s
Hi All,
I've got 7.5x17 and 9x17 for my 968, the proper rubber sizes are 225/45/17 and 255/40/17. I have some leftover tires with excellent tread from my other car with 225/45/17 and 245/40/17. So the question is, does the 245 make a difference vs the 255? Will it look too narrow on the rim? Thanks for the feedback.
