Konstantin,

I would like more info on the "set-up" for this 968 CS you speak about.

Thanks,

Graham.

hello
The 24H race 968 is not the same a sthe 968 CS who was 10 sec faster at Nurburgring with my chip
one is a full race car the other e street car.

The other 968 car is just a street 968 CS with M030 and my chip. Same driver all the time. 10 sec faster on his fastest lap 5 sec on his slowest lap. His older times were also with a chip from FVD.
So this is the comaprison between my chip VS the FVD chip. The FVD chip was a little better than the stock chip.

A comparison between my chip and the chip from the race 968 in a 968 street car (not in the 968 CS) showed that the car with my chip was about 1 sec faster from 100 to 200 km/h.

The race 968 has more mods like cams flywheel chip etc. it makes about 300 HP

I work toghetehr with a very serius engine builder who can bring a NA 968 to 300 HP with supercharger or Turbo

How about deletion of the chain? This will eliminate the camshaft sprockets problem. Can it be done? Look at this photo.

yes it can be done but if you inspect the chain and the other related parts every 100000 km/ or every 5 years you will have no problem.

That is David' Raines (Powerhaus) own engine that he runs in his car. It is based on an S2 head and turbocharged.

ah - ok - bummer - clean looking setup, but i was hoping to get rid of the gobbledygook inside and bring it all up front where it could be serviced easier, but i want to stay NA and keep the variocam
