Default Looking For 968 Front Nose

I'm looking for a front nose, just the skin, for a 968. I do not need the lenses and mounting hardware brackets. Any color is fine, it will be re-sprayed for install on track car. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Joe

I see them pop up on Ebay from time to time.

But do you mean the front bumper cover or the hood, fenders, bumper cover, etc?

I have one with very light damage to it, but shipping it from KC to NJ will be a bit of a pain. PM me if you want to talk about it.

I'm guessing he will not be thrilled at $1200+ for a factory new track car bumper cover...

Shameless plug for ad number 3022 which lists my new, unused front cover . . .
It's in northwest Alabama if that will help . . .

1200 bucks? oof - that's a bit stiff for a track car - as i remember, gt racing has a fiberglass one that would make for mods easy enough if it doesn't bump you in class

The price must have fallen in the last year or so, as I saw the invoice on the one for my '92 after it got hit, unless the local dealership was profiteering. From the factory the bumper cover was $1200 and the hood was $1400.

wow... thats a pretty healthy price difference, considering we were buying at about the same time.

I'm guessing that Porsche charged retail for mine, whereas Sunset charged jobber plus markup for yours. Since it was an insurance job, I wasn't sweating the dollars.

I have several. Please feel free to give me a buzz @ 508-989-3970 and we can go over the details. Also, for those that may be interested, I have a VERY LARGE inventory of used 968 parts - Everything from body parts (hoods, fenders, doors, engines, some interor pieces (anyone looking for a pair of 1994 blue 993 style 968 front seats? - I've got a pair!), electronics, wiring harnesses, cranks, heads, vario cam solenoids, cams, valves) Complete used clutch assemblies, starters, torque tubes, shift rods, rear bumper covers, lights...

Also, I stock new upper and lower gasket sets, bearings, Raceware head studs, yadda, yadda, yadda...

For the diehard 968 track junkie - I have a FULL GT-Racing fiberglass body kit for sale as well. It includes a hood, front bumper cover, rocker panels, front fenders, rear quarters, and plastic light covers. Parts are new, never installed. Roughly $2,900.00 worth of parts - First $1900.00 takes it all away!

In a nutshell, I have more than a handful of parts available - Please let me know if there is anything you need. Again, please feel free to call - Things have been real busy at the shop and I may not get to reply to emails or PM's quickly.

Jason,

The doors I have are not fiberglass, they are stock doors. I have three pairs - Two pairs are polar silver and one pair is white.

Scott, I'm still looking for a set of rear 968 calipers to use as cores for powdercoating or painting to match my Big Reds.
