I just put a 951 based 3.0 8v turbo in a 93 cab, using the 951 engine harness, Does anyone know what wiring you have to do at the 14 pin plug to make this all work? There is obviously some differences and reading the schematics isnt pleasant, if anyone has some answers, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!!

so you are using the 951 engine harness, DME and KLR...
have a careful read of Todd Holyoak's chart:

It’s a little confusing…hard to keep straight whether you have the 968 engine going into a 944 or a 944 engine going into a 968
in your case it looks like you need to cut the brown wire on the 14 pin connector by the brake booster then connect the brown wire's end going towards the dashboard to ground. this will supply the DME relay with a ground on relay pin 85 like the 944 does (which if you had the 968 engine and DME, the ground would come from the DME pin 36 “Actuation DME – Relay”
also connect the other ‘snipped’ end of the brown wire (going towards engine harness – hope you left a long enough piece to splice into) to the starter motor wire red/black which might be in a close-by harness IIRC. this will supply the 944 DME pin 4 with “12V during starting (term 50 ign switch)” per Todd’s chart.
there is also a 14 pin connector near the 968’s DME that won’t mate very well with the 944 harness which I think has an 8 pin plug. here, the oil level idiot light wire (white/green) that is on pin 8 needs to connect to the 14 pin connector’s pin 8 (white/yellow). the tach signal (green/white) on pin 2 needs to connect to the 14 pin connector’s pin 2 (red/blue) I believe. the boost gauge wire (blue) on pin 3 doesn’t have a place on the 968’s 14 pin…the 968’s pin 3 is a black/white that turns off the AC under full throttle (I think) with along with pin 4.
hmmm...wasn't Turby doing this too? anyone know if he got it running?

I don't which version my car would be considered...
We did a turbo conversion of my 968 using the 8-valve 944 head and many of the 944 turbo parts.
We did a Haltech stand alone, though.
I guess it's a 968/951/944 variant, right?

Jason, I think with standalone its a tad bit easier to interface the 2 sides. I should have an answer in a few weeks. I myself would like to know the answer to this.
