I have a small crack in my windshield. It seems that the only one offered from Porsche for the 968 coupe has the antenna built into the center. The description at the dealer does not say antenna, but it sure has one. The part number in the PET has been replaced with another number. I understand why they wanted to consolidate types. Does everyone believe this to be true?

Its a 944 screen with the aerial in.

I've just had mine replaced with a proper screen, no antenna and a graded tint as it should be. I am in the UK and the screen was supplied by a company called AutoGlass I know they had to order it in from Porsche direct but their invoice doesn't show a part number so no real help other than the proper screens do exist if a little hard to get hold of.

A friend of mine recently had his 968 windshield replaced. The only ones available in California were the 944 style with the antenna so that's what he had to go with.

968 Cabs had an integral antenna, it could be one of those.

 

I think so as well. Bruce recently changed the windshield on the yellow coupe and the one they installed has the antenna in it as well. It matched perfectly with Damian's cab.
