Default Seat Dimensions

Anyone got their car close at hand? I need some rough dimensions before I order a seat cover for my puppy. My car is unavailable.

This is what I’m verifying:

ps: Please don’t judge, the poor little guy loves the Cab as much as I do and he slides all over the seat. 😂😂

What year is your car?
Not sure if the seat dimensions changed, but the seats sure did.

Put Fido in the back seat! If you need to hit the brakes hard, Fido will end up in the passenger footwell after hitting it's head on the glovebox on the way down.
Put the passenger seat all the way back, and the back seat will be the safest place for your backseat driver!

Here are my dimensions, top just below the headrest 16"(21"), side back 33", width across the widest part of seat back 20". Seat bottom front to back of seat 23", top of seat bottom front to back 21", across narrowest part of seat bottom 18", across front of seat bottom 21".

But, put your dog in the back!!!!

Might work for his dog, but mine barely fits in the front (but she does go to car events with me regularly in the 968 - just did this morning) - no way she'd fit in the back. :-)

Yea, but he would not get thrown into the footwell. Little Fido would....

Milo is the best/most aware passenger pup I’ve ever had. He sits down at the slightest hint of braking or turning. I know in an emergency he’s at risk, that’s why I want him to have better grip. Also gonna get him a harness and seatbelt lead.

Thx for posting your dimensions. Looks like that Amazon cover is a bit small to fit our seats. Thinking about ordering one anyway and rigging just the seat base to anchor his sheepskin pad.

In a rare moment of clarity, I dug out my RV/Camping/Climbing box and rigged some awning clips to the sheepskin and tied it down with some cinch straps. Milo approves!

Bonus: I found my missing cigar lighter. I thought someone swiped it. Iguess it fell out and rolled under the passenger seat.
