Yogii - your rookie stripe is showing again. Those aren’t resonators. Those are rear mufflers.

As to Spokayman’s comment regarding the BB not having a drone, I agree. I have it on 2 cars. I find the exhaust tone to be very nice. For me it sounds like a performance sports car and does not sound like an Asian car with a fart can.

That is just for the rear muffler , which I do not need. As you can see from this link, the " central muffler aka resonator" is 2200 by itself and a separate part.

I do thank you for the input though.

What's this "company in Canada that sells triangle shaped universal ones"?

This is the company with the triangle shaped resonators. Look at the last offering on the products section.

According to the parts catalogue, part number 94411104111 includes both central resonator and muffler. In fact, I'm pretty sure these two parts were never sold separately (wreckers often cut and sell different sections but it comes from Porsche as a unit). Definitely worth calling the dealer to check whether I am correct.

Thanks. What are the two part numbers? As this contradicts the parts catalogue, we should clear it up for future reference.

Sorry, I was not planning on paying their crazy *** prices so I didn't bother writing them down.

On a bright note I guess I exposed my shop further by discovering it was not the resonator at all but a loose oxygen sensor. Getting tired of counting to 10....

Maybe you need a new shop? My sop in SF just announced that they were retiring, so I need a new one too.

I'm caught between a rock and hard place at this point, 5 figures spent, I would say 90% of it is very good work but there have been some real moments the past 5 months. I have a warranty on all of this so I can't blow it up unless I want to trust there will be no further issues but I will say this labor isn't what it used to be.

I drove the car hard this morning and everything is solid and tight. AC is blowing ice cold and I think I am ready to move onto next phase in my process. I violated my own rules buying the car and everything else. I bought a 930 6 years ago, PPI etc and still got screwed. Time is a real thing and I have relearned what I did in the Corps for many years, overcome, adapt and move forward.

My favorite body shop sold out to a chain, my guy there says it has destroyed the culture, everything is timed and noted and quality be damned. We are in a spiral.
