For those who have repainted their cars, what's a rough cost of the repaint...if you've done it recently?

I need to get the body inspected first to see how much actually needs to be repainted.

I don't expect it to be cheap.

My 200k miles black cabriolet has been in the shop getting painting for a few weeks now. It needed some minor bodywork and a new top installed (that I had already bought). Me and the painter both sort of guessed it will run $5500ish. I didn't have him do an estimate, they have painted other cars for me.
