I keep hearing on the forum that we should buy parts now while available. I have a 94 cab.So what is available now that I should buy for the future?

I am of the belief, maybe naively so, that Porsche does care about keeping these cars on the road. They advertise that 70% of all P-cars made are still on the road.
The parts that are already NLA, probabley will remain so. But the parts that ARE available will probably remain so too. My hope anyway...

None. Unless being a hoarder sounds fun to you. Or unless there is a part you need that really is being discontinued.

That said, the first to go is esoteric stuff that isn't economically sustainable. Large body panels, parts no one ever buys, etc.

Most short-lifespan, maintenance-type parts will likely remain in production for quite some time.

Parts car won't help unless you're looking for undamaged, esoteric components that have a long lifespan, like a piece of glass. Or unless you just like playing used-parts roulette. In my experience a used part is often less economically viable than a new one.
