Default Needing 968 automatic torque tube

Looking for a non-split automatic torque tube for a car that has a failed split one , please let me know if there is one to purchase , thanks.

Try Mark Pleiman at Plyhammers Parts. He is in Ohio and recently parted a true 94 Tiptronic Car (solid tube) and probably still has the torque tube. IIRC it was slightly over 100K miles and probably worth rebuilding before installing as thats a big job and no need to do it 30K miles down the road.

I didn't think that the Tiptronics had non split tubes? My 94 has a split one.

Perhaps yours is a re-vinned 93. There were plenty of those, your options tag will show a code 718 on it if that is the case. See Jeff Coes site on 718 https://968register.org/optionalequi...tion-code-718/

or maybe they never made a solid one.....Im not sure on the tiptronic tubes. Have never parted a tiptronic.

Yeah I'm not sure, I just assumed that due to the even more limited numbers of Tiptronics that they never bothered to update the tube.
