Default 8 Way Electric Seat

Does anyone know where I can purchase these parts? See circled area in photo. The drivers seat is missing what looks like bushings to keep the seat from shifting everyone I hit the gas and brake. It’s driving me crazy

thx.

You should be able to buy them from Sonnen.

They're kinda hard to find - you need the seat catalog. If you have it - look at page 170. Looks like part #36 and 37 in the image to me. Sleeve (p/n N 902 514 01) and a Bushing (p/n N 902 515 01) priced at Sonnen $0.72 and $2.02 respectively.

Ok. After speaking to my Porsche dealer. Those parts are for the manual release cable. They will not work on the threaded rod. He’s feeling me I have to buy a new Track, B/C those bushing are not fold separately. 😡. This can’t be true. I will not purchase a $900 seat track when all I need a maybe $4.00 in plastic/ rubber bushing. There has to be a solution for this. Anyone experience this issue with the seats?

Looks like you are correct. Although the price through Sunset is just a shade under $600. I would look to get a track from a dismantler, got to be significantly cheaper.

Guess you'll need to source a used power seat and rob the rai/pieces. Maybe 3D print something?

I have similar problem to @Boca968 . There is some slight, but still annoying front/back movement in my driver's seat. I *believe* that the bushing inside the "nut" that runs up/down the threaded rod is shot. I don't a PET for the seat (and can't seem to find one online). Does anyone have the seat diagrams? Or has anyone fixed this movement otherwise?

Search in the 928 forum, they've dealt with this.

https://www.porsche.com/usa/accessor...artscatalogue/

In the pull down list at the bottom of the page scroll down until you see "Seats 944, 968, 911, 928, 1985 - 1998"

The diagram you are looking for is Illustration: 804-08

I had the same problem of front/back movement and discovered the thread in the brass nut was stripped.
Being unable to source a replacement, I reverted to using a 12mm UNC nut, a bit of a 'bush fix' that worked (at a cost of 42 cents).
The threaded rod seems to have a square thread, the UNC does not, however the mechanism moves forward and back with ease and all annoying movement ceased!

Did you happen to note that the thread comment was back from 2020?

Understand that Sonnen is Marin today...
