Default Amazing 968 cab on eBay

Looking for a 968 cab? Want a special one? Want a clean one?

Looks like such an example is up on eBay.

1 of 5 cabs produced in the 1992 only special metallic paint ($1600 option) offering of Tahoe Blue.

Factor in the Marine blue interior and it is 1 of 1.

Car is said to have 23k miles on it and looks fantastic. What a great color.

968 cab

Wow. They should have put that one on BAT. That's not too far from me, but I don't need another one.

Front mesh and front spoiler or whatever they call it seem to be missing. I'm not sure how many will find it on Ebay and that will effect the final price. I was way high on the last one I guessed, I'll go $26,500 on this one.

You have to admit, that is a great color. I don't think I would have picked blue interior but the exterior, wow.

I love the Tahoe Blue but not fond of the blue interior. The dark blue just doesn't look right with the light blue exterior to me.

Also noticed it's missing a vent slider **** thingy, the front lower bumper worries me, it's running hot and the gauge cluster...it has those moisture dots on it. The only 2 cars I've ever owned that had those 'flavor dots' were flood cars. Either that or it's sat outside and leaks enough to cause a moisture problem inside the car which I've also seen. Either way, the inside has been wet for an extended period. Seeing as how it's in Alabama though, maybe it's just the humidity down there. But it is something to be wary about with 'only' 23K miles on it.

That is very nice. The sellers website has it listed for $24,900. Carfax shows no insurance issue, like a flood, .... something happened to the the lower bumper... to lose the batwing and the grill and not see any other physical evidence of an impact???

And the airbag and brake pad warning lights are on. I'd sell my car with this sort of flaws only if I wanted to get rid of it..., too much effort to fix everything.

Just over $600 to replace the front airdam and radiator grill piece.
Otherwise looks good. Pretty color.

Yogii, When I get the car, if I need or want to replace these pieces, where would I find them?

No, Fortunately, I've been lucky enough to have had many of the cars that I dreamed about as a kid...As far as Porsches, I have had 2 944's, 4 911's, a 930, and a 914, currently I have a 2005 911 Turbo S,.... but this is my first 968!

I truly believe that if Porsche had kept up the transaxle program that we would see a lot fewer M3's in the road.
