lens installation
Hey guys, I need help installing the euro lenses. I'm kinda embarrased to ask how to remove the orignals. I got past the unscrewing part but now I'm not sure whether or not I should just yank them out pulling (forward or sideways) or if I'm somehow supposto get the bumperettes off. Theres a lot of resistance pulling the lenses forward.
haha i'm not going to become a mechanic anytime soon! Thanks

Chris, it's in the manual-but you do yank them forward. Take off the bumperette by using a flat blade to pop out the inner square rubber cover, then use a nut driver to take off the nut-and you're done.

Damian has it down all the way. You use a 8mm socket to get the 2 nuts out to get the bumperette out. Once the bumperette is out, just slide the new blinkers in and install the phillips and you are good to go.

Don't know if you are picky about the fit, but when I put mine on, I saw they did not fit flush with the fog lamps. Nipping the ends of the bumperette bolts with a big pair of wire cutters did the trick and they fit much better. Perfectly flush with the front of the fog lamps.
