I recently purchased a strut brace https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PORSCHE-...72.m2749.l2649
I tried to fit it up last night and the angles are all wrong and I cannot get it to sit down on the 4 threaded studs on either side of the car.
My question is, is the 944 Strut Brace the same as the 968 or are they different.
Anyone in the know. I think I got the wrong brace or just ripped off.

My understanding is that the 944 8V Strut Brace does not fit 968.

I am told by a brace manufacturer that when they were R&Ding braces (years ago), they discovered that not only did the 968 fuel rail cover interfered with the 944 3.0 brace, but the valve cover for the 3.0 vario-cam engine was taller and for that reason, a 944 3.0 brace would not fit. The pic of the brace that you purchased shows it really hugging the engine so if the information I have been given is correct (and I believe it to be), it's a no go.

I bought the exact same strut brace for my 968 on EBAY from that Polish dude in London! Needless to say, it didn't fit! The guy hasn't answered my emails. I am going to file a complaint, I suggest you do the same.
