PPI in Daytona Beach/Holly HIlls Fl?
Hey all -
I'm looking for a mechanic to do a ppi on a 968 that I'm looking at in the Daytona Beach, FL area - does anyone know anyone that they can recommend?
Thanks,
Brad

I was just down there for 10 days, I have a house down there that I am redoing and got back the other day. It's odd that the guy has something like 4 or 5 968's, the white convertible that is an automatic is a car that I found on craigslist last year in Orlando, the guy would never show it to me (the previous owner) and he finally sold it on ebay for something like $8500, now the place you are looking at has it and they want something like $18K. I personally think their 968's that they have are over priced, they've had them for a year or long for most of them.
Best of luck, I do not know any specific Porsche shops down there. Don't know what you are looking specifically, somebody to look at the cam chain tensioner or just somebody to give a good report of the car and how it drives.

Hey yeah I talked to him and he seems like a nice guy and says he just likes his 944s and 968s.
Im looking for a mechanic that will give it a good once over but the seller doesn’t have any maintenance records for the blue convertible so I’m going to have to do the belt regardless of what a mechanic says - so basically just a guy that can check the compression, see if there are any bad noises etc.
Let me know if you think of anyone you can recommend!
thanks!
