Default WTB: 968 Cabriolet - Manual - Blue - Completely Original

I'm looking to buy a low mileage (<30k mi), manual 968 Cabriolet in Blue.

Maritime, Cobalt, Midnight, Marine, Riviera, Tahoe, Venetian would all work.

Thank you.

Carl, we'll keep an eye out. In the meantime, check out 968register.org for example photos.

Carl,

Good luck in your search - I've got a higher mileage Riv Blue cab with 6spd, but it's not for sale.

I hope you get one - they are fun!!!

I saw this one but has higher mileage than you wanted but it’s not super high.

30,000 miles is extremely low, extremely. So many maintenance items are just as time dependent as milage dependent. Unless you are going to put it in a bubble as a pure investment, why so low miles?
When I was looking for my 968, I considered anything below 60K be be really low mileage.

Carl,

I suggest you pick 2-3 colors, if everything else is right with the car. I just missed out on 2 red/cashmere cars before I got lucky with my MBM car. There are so few 968's that if you limit yourself to much you will never get one.
Figure out how many cars were imported to the NA in the single color that you want. As you can see form Jeff968's great charts, black, red and white were the most popular. YMMV.

How many blue convertibles came over? How many were Tiptronic? Otherwise, just have it painted!

Call Stevens Creek of San Jose. They had a light blue/silver convert. available awhile ago.
Otherwise, consider an S2 convert, many more available.

Please count here how many blue convertibles came to NA. How many of the blue hues are acceptable?

I was counting blues and did not realize metallic black is not the same as black. I guess my high mileage metallic black cab is worth $20 more since it's somewhat more rare. To bad that it's been out in the sun so much that the trunk barely has any paint left.

92 968 Cab
I know i’m Late to this post. Nevertheless, in my opinion you left off the best blue of all from your list: Horizon Blue Metallic. Only 34 cabs. While Porsche used this color on other models it just seems to look best on the 968 cab.
