This 93 has the door pillar black like a 92. When did they start painting this the body color or is that an unknown? I also think the outer door seals are slightly different, have not looked up yet in PET

Well, it is known, that they changed that from build date 1993 to 1994 (apart from the convertibles). So all stock 1994 and later cars should have the door pillar in body color.

Not quite. You have to consider whether the car is an early 94 or late and for that you look to option code 718:
So, for the North American 968 coupes, all the 92 and 93 coupes have the black painted B-pillar and the 94s up to RS820221 built in June of 1993.
The remaining 94s and all the 95s have the body colored B-pillars.
