Looking for pics of midnight blue interior shots. My midnight blue interior perplexes me. There are pieces which are very dark blue, than others that are nowhere near as dark. Just trying to understand if that's the way midnight blue is.
My car is Midnight blue and it was ordered with midnight blue carpet. It's so dark that I thought it was black until I was getting around to ordering those floor mats. I ordered them from in midnight blue from Lloyds and when they came in the seemed almost gray to me, but then when I installed them they matched. Doubt this helps you, but for sure midnight blue carpet is very dark.
Thanks gentlemen! My interior matches Spark's in color. Carpet is different - some is faded as I have cab - other carpet pieces are darker. Carpet colorfastness sucks!
The odd thing is my A pillars and the rear quarter panel interior covers are REALLY REALLY dark - almost black. Rest of the vinyl/leather matches with Spark's pic. Very odd!
I'll have to post a pic...
I also got a leather sample of midnight blue for potentially recovering my seats. The material I received is nearly black and would not look like anything else in my car.
Thanks Jeff! So based on the A pillars in the cab shot you posted, I think my A pillars are normal! Odd though, that the A pillars would be black (or much, much darker blue) when compared to the rest of the interior!
Jim, always go to PET with questions like that. Sure enough, they list the A-pillar covers in Midnight blue, 944 555 054 00 3HP and 944 555 053 00 3HP. Why they are so dark??? Who knows.
Jeff - those numbers you listed are for the coupe A-pillars, not the for the cabrio. The midnight blue cabrio A-pillars are NLA from everything I've been able to ascertain. The black ones are still available, but over $1200 each new! Ouch!
I had the top down this weekend... I could see spots / sections of the A-pillars that matched the rest of the interior. Same for the interior rear quarter covers. Guessing sunlight is the culprit!

Jim,
I was just trying to illustrate that there was a midnight blue part number for the A-pillar. I would suggest re-dying. This works very well. You may want to take the cover off. From the rear you should see the original color. This would then be used to match the color and then it could be re-sprayed. Be sure to use the special primer on the plastic.
