Tach bounce after car came from storage
So, been a long winter, put the car in storage in november, just got it back basically May 1st! Seems to run fine, but my tach is all over the place, a few hundred rpm when driving.
Was not a problem before storage, was rock steady! Where should I start to look?
Thanks.

Well for once on this car it was a zero dollar fix!
The handle on the passenger side had been pulled, and it sticks a bit when the door is locked, so that caused the actuator to not move all the way. The door lock button had it's light on, even though the drivers door was unlocked. Opening the passenger door and resetting the trigger made the problem go away.
So I assume I had the alarm partially armed or something and it was causing the weirdness...

Interesting. Mine was in heated storage from November until two weeks ago and I had something similar happen - as soon as I put the negative cable back on the alarm went off. Tried everything to make it stop, jumping in turning the ignition key etc - it did not do this the prior year. Eventually I put the cable on then quickly locked/unlocked the passenger door and the alarm silenced.
