Default Coolant hoses

I have a puddle of coolant on the floor. When I had my car in for motor mounts the mechanic said it looked like I had a coolant hose leaking near the radiator. How difficult and involved a job is it to replace the hoses on this car?

With the air box and fans out; piece of cake. First, make sure all hose clamps are tight. I found my leak was simply a clamp which had worked loose a little. It was the one right above the fan temp sensor.

Ok thanks LTC. I haven't even looked at the source of the leak yet but just assume the hoses need to be replaced due to age.

Boeing - you are correct on the age thing although you don't see a lot of postings about hoses failing on our old cars. And don't get fixated on the radiator hoses alone and forget that a 968 has a total of 8 coolant hoses. Porsche is also a bit proud of some of them...

Thanks man, when I have time I'll get in there and check it out. If I don't see a bad hose I probably won't replace them anyway. Just got another toy car and it has all my attention right now.

Has anyone used the Lindsey silicone hose kit on their cars, and has an opinion up or down on this kit?
