Default Interior Condensation on Front Window

Anyone have issues with the inside windows getting condensation? It’s happening to my car when it’s parked outside in the cold weather. Especially if it’s cold and it rains. Front windows on the inside get pretty damp where it needs to be wiped down with a cloth. Running the defogger helps of course but this doesn’t happen with any of my other cars.

There are several reasons this could be happening. Absent a huge air leak that would allow the moisture/dew to enter the car, could be moisture in the car or something creating heat inside the car.
Is there a something inside the car that could be creating heat?

Don’t think so. Windows all closed, power all off. No leaks that i can see.

Are you getting about the same amount of moisture on the outside of windows?

You have to be getting moisture inside the car somehow. Double check the carpets throughout for moisture. There are several threads on this forum that describe how to clean the door/roof drains on both cabs and coupes. Coupes can have a leaky hatch window also. Try putting damp-rid or even cat litter (in an open container inside to absorb the moisture. This would be secondary to finding the actual leak.

The AC drain is behind the radio. If it feels supple enough to remove, check it for blockage.

Parking with the nose downhill might pool water in the heater/AC box.

What a great call. Maybe also heater core leaking? You would probably smell the antifreeze though.

Thanks all! I will check the drain plugs. Pretty sure heater core is okay.
