Unhappy Alternative to 951 M030 spindles

Anybody know of an alternative.

They are too damn expensive over here in the UK.

£1600 for the pair.

I have spacers at the moment but am not particularly happy with them.

Would an aluminium equivalent be feasible?

Like the machined A arms.

I know these have to take quite a load.

What did the 993 RSR and GT2 race cars use?

Graham, any later 951 S has the same spindles. Time to call some brokers. You should be able to find them for approx $500 used.

There are no alternatives that I am aware of. I suspect if there were any, they'd be priced way out of the market anyway. Have you considered trying to source them over here in the US and get them shipped? Its got to be a LOT cheaper, assuming you were quoting used prices at £1600 for the pair. For what its worth, I haven't heard of anyone having any problems with used ones, but it would getting them thoroughly checked by someone with experience (or having them magnafluxed) before going to the hassle of shipping them.

Regards,
