Default Dallas meet today

I think 12 or so 968's showed up today. Was pretty cool. Finally got to see what a normal idle is like. WOW what a difference from mine I had no idea they were supposed to be so smooth. Couple of knowledgeable guys said my balance shaft belt was probably off combined with dead engine mounts. Anyhow heres some pics.

Ditto re pics and turnout.
It was sorta like the recent West Coast ramble in turnout and cool cars. Was it only 968's? Does Texas have a lock on Black coupes?

No, many Porsches showed up but 968s were being recognized and had their own parking.

I'm going to get this wrong from memory, but here goes.....

Guards Red Coupe & Cab x2
Midnight Blue Coupe & Cab
Iris Blue Coupe & Cab
Black Coupe x2
White Coupe
Aventurine Green Coupe

Had a Horizon Blue Cab (I think it was) that didn't show

That was a great turnout! Always nice to see some less popular color 968s

Or the Registry? Every time I meet a 968 owner I ask them if their car is on the registry. If not, I pic their VIN so I can report to Jeff that it is alive and well and its condition and miles.

Same if I stumble upon a 968. I pic the VIN and report the whereabouts, condition and mileage of the car to Jeff.

LOL - please forgive me touareg. I live in what appears to be the 968 "capital" of the US. I've had 3 sightings in the last 2 weeks and can easily name off over a dozen in my immediate area. It's also amazing how many I've found (over the years) just passing through. Jeff is actually considering retiring here!

Jon,
There are 11 of you Iris Blue/Marble grey/midnight blue coupes out there. Very cool combo.
Jeff
