Cam chain tensioners - book time, etc?
So I'm getting ready to have the water pump, belts, rollers, and all seals redone in the new-to-me 968 soon.
Thinking that it might be a good idea to have the cam chain tensioners done at the same time, since I have no idea of their condition. Or the condition of the chain. Or sprocket, for that matter.
Anybody have an idea of the book-time on that?
I was quoted labor cost of $1368 for the cam chain tensioners-- which oddly enough is the same labor cost I was quoted to do the belts etc. I'm thinking they misunderstood my question and quoted again for the belts and pump.
