Phew, I hope your right.

Whne you say O rings, does that mean that there is more than one as there is only one on the end of mine ?

btw, with automatics, the ‘rubber damper’ is at the front where a clutch would be...connecting the flywheel to the driveshaft and usually makes a clunking noise when it fails

the 'flex plate' is at the back, connecting the driveshaft to the torque converter and usually makes a ticking noise when it needs attention

does the 968 'tip' have a removable plate on the bellhousing to access the rubber damper like the 968 clutch has??
