Default 1987 944 single cam motor swap to 1987 944S twin cam car

I used the single cam engine/injector harness, but left the twin cam chassis harness that is in the car. I have spark but no injector pulse. The green neg. coil wire is constantly ground so i disconnect it and run a jumper to terminal #1 on ECM to get spark. Where does that neg. coil wire go besides tach, and ECU terminal #1? This is a race car so all I need is a injector pulse even if I have to run new wires (which I'd rather do than change the chassis harness just for one wire).

hello, the black wire on the coil is POSITIVE straight from the ignition switch, the green wire is the pulsed ground controlled by the ECU to fire the spark.

what was the reason to put the SOHC engine in the DOHC car?
what happened to the DOHC engine?
