Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics?
Tyre choice for the CS I know can be very subjective (same as engine oil debates!).
However, a track suspension/geo professional has recommended to me (among other usuals of Toyo, Michellin Cups, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Conti and Federal) the new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3. Done the usual checks on independant tests and reviews and by all accounts they are supposed to be pretty awesome. Problem is though the 3's are available for the front sizes (225/45) only and not for the rears (255/40) - which only available as Asymmetric 2. I've gone and ordered both.
Anyone used this combo? I've found that the 2 vs 3 difference is incrementally quite small and not an evolutionary step change (this from Goodyear).
Cheers
