Is the black paint on the 1991 turbo clear coated or not? Just brought the turbo home and would like to detail it but not sure if it has a clear coat. Help please could not find the answer in the owners manual or a forum search.

Not sure when Porsche started using clear ccoat, but it was well before 1991. Best way to tell is to apply a small amount of polish to a cotton cloth and rub it in somewhere low in the body in a circle the size of a quarter. If your cloth shows no paint, then your paint has a clear coat.
