Default Spotted in the wild....

The family and I are in SoCal for spring break - road trip from Denver in the wife's grocery getter. We stopped in Vegas for the night and we were on the interstate and I looked in my mirror and noticed a 911 coming up from behind. Or was it a 968? No maybe it was a 993? But as it got closer I noticed the two horizontal 964 slots in the bumper cover. But the headlights seemed odd.
Aha!!! Spotted in the wild.
964 Turbo S Flachbau!
Not a huge fan of the Flachbau but it was cool to see such a rare car on the road.
Must have been funny to see a Passat wagon trying to keep up with the female passenger trying to take pics.

I'm going to have lunch today with a client who has a very very rare Porsche but that may be a story for another day

I'll post a pic or two as soon as I can figure out how to do that from my phone

very cool sighting. Thanks for posting!

I took a ride (passenger) in a '92 964 Turbo S Leichbau during last years PCA Parade out in Indiana.
I gotta say it felt worlds apart from my regular '91. That lighter flywheel seemed to make a big difference. That thing spun up QUICK. man that was fun.

now I gotta call my buddy & remind him of how much fun I had that day,.... & in need of a repeat.

Sorry for the bad (and sideways!) pic. Oh well.
It was pretty cool to see the car just out driving along.
