Market peaking for 3.6's?
This sharp looking 3.6 was advertised a few weeks ago for $225K with many offers but no sale and now it is being listed for 16K less.

The market for air-cooleds has probably gone a little too far too fast (I purchased my 3.6 with 15K miles when the economy was still fragile in 2010 and at that time there were a few of these for sale with similar mileage in the $80 to $85K range).

Not sure why this car is not getting more attention. Rear bumper is rough but original paint. Otherwise a nice looking car.
I haven't seen another 3.6 sell in a while any idea where pricing is at for average mileage turbo's?

I think the stock market upswing is broadening and the U.S. economy is improving at a more rapid pace than at any time over the past few years (still slow but the curve is steepening) ... this bodes well for prices sustaining current levels and maybe even moving up some over the fall. If economy is back (or appears to be back) by 2015 spring low mileage 3.6's in pristine condition could be commanding $300k. They are the icon. And you can benchmark everything else - up or down - off them. YMMV
