got rid of my R8. Thinking of getting a Gallardo Balboni.. preferably Stick-shift.. I believe this would be a good collector car. only 250 made and a handful were stick. what you guys think?

they produced a similar car sans stripe the year after which is the normal lp550-2. It came with manual, exactly a balboni sans stripe. The next year the new replacement model will come out. Your 3.6 is a better investment car, collector car.
If you want a collector, find a LP670-SV

totally agree with you on similarity.. it is the same car. my thinking is that you are not really paying a premium for the stripes and "balboni" name. pricing is practically same. you can grab a balboni for 160-170k. I feel its more the legacy that balboni has left behind by creating the 2-wheel drive lambo and the fact that this car is a tribute to him and the possibility of it being the last manual lambo. I may be wrong though.

A new BMW i8, except no trunk. I've thought about a 2009 911 Turbo with the PDK transmission - might as well go all the way if I go modern. In reality, I'll probably trade off my BWM 335i for another BMW, my practical driver car that runs the quarter mile in the mid 13's. It's quick. The new 4-series is available only as a two door. I want a four door because why have a two door with such a big car? My sports car is a 964 turbo.
