Default Cat bypass vs hi flo cat

Hi

I have a 91 turbo and have some exhaust questions. I've used the search function and know that the cat bypass wakes up the motor and provides very aggressive sound but I'm not crazy about a smellier exhaust. Is there anyone who makes a hi flow cat which also "wakes up" the motor much like the cat by pass does. Or am I out of luck.

Thanks.

R

No smells with my fabspeed cat bypass and I wouldn't go as far as to call the sound aggressive.

I tried mine with no cat and just the resonator but there was no more sneaking out of the driveway at 6:00 am for a drive and breakfast. So I went with the FVD freeflow cat they have listed and it works great.

I have fabspeed headers, cat bypass and exhaust..build up on car is here http://www.auto-edge.com/pages/Proje...el=965%20Turbo

The PO told me he left the Cat on the Wastegate, and that makes the diff .. Mine is not horrible when I am light on the throttle, but will make a little noise when you hammer it.

Here is a bad clip of acceleration

Hi RR,

In general the cat bypass will not change the smell of the exhaust unless there is something wrong.

We have many options for the 965's, you can see them all here:

https://www.fabspeed.com/911Turbo_930C2Turbo.html

There are sound clips on the website as well.

Also we recently started producing wastegate cat delete pipes, but can also replicate that pipe with a high flow cat if the customer wishes.

What about a turbo bi-pass pipe?
