Oh wait,... then does that mean,... that the order I just placed last week ( where the bmb order-web-page showed a picture of the "40" new edition 911 air-cooled Turbo book),... that I will get the older first edition, since this new "40" edition is not available till November?

I thought I read that the first edition was no longer available. Hence I thought I was ordering the new one.

Now I am confused about when the new edition is released, and orders being taken now.

Hallo Steve,

the 2012-editions are sold out since months, you can buy the old Books For 1800US$ @amazon.

You did pre-order the new 2015 Limited edition (2015 copies wordlwide) with 270pages. Maybe you can sell it For 1900US$ in 2 years. So you should think about ordering a 2nd copy 😀

Steve,

the publishing date 11/01/2015 is choosen very conservative and carefully.
I hope that all of you who ordered directly @bmb received the book by early November. Today the "proofs" arrived

Did you receive the books? Which one is better? Cayenne or Turbo?

Yes I did receive both books. I love the 911 book. Well done.

Thank you Andreas, for personally signing the book too. Nice touch.

The odd thing is that I cannot bring myself to unwrap the plastic on the Cayenne book. I love to "look at the pictures" (as much as the next kid),... but I'll be honest, I really wanted to read the text as well. I wanted the "story" of the Cayenne. {< I'll also add that it was MY FAULT for not taking the time to research that the Cayenne book was only in German text, BEFORE I placed my order. >}

So at this point, I'm not sure what I'll do with the Cayenne book. Maybe I'll give it as a gift to friend who also owns a Cayenne.

Andreas,

If you could please respond to my PM.

I paid for a book and it appears everyone has already received theirs and I have not. The other thread mentioned receiving 18XX out of 2015 last week.

I hope this isn't a problem.

Thanks

Anthony

Thanks, Sorry don't speak German.

You never know. The cayenne may be the classic Porsche of the future. I just overhauled my 04 and it feels like new but old school compared to the 14 GTS.

I emailed Andreas directly I am sure we will get this resolved.
