That is very cool. I can't do that legally in the usa. You are very lucky.

I can't do this legally in Holland also. In Germany it is legal (on some places). But that's another country.
So I made this pic on my private driveway

My personal goal is to reach 150mph, but unable to do so yet. Run out of road near my house ( back road with 65mph speed limit)... and worry too much about getting caught... It would mean Jail time I think....

Sonny

Hi Oscar

I see from your first pic you have road signs on 'your driveway'.... Good stuff.

I've seen the 300 km/h picture before. Also there is a light glowing which I believe is the "fasten the safety belt"-light. Not that it would do any good at this sort of speed, but anyway ... )

cheers

I must compliment you on the great looking dash. What do you clean it with?

Freddie is the guilty one for the "close to 300" picture, not sure if he sold his car or decided to keep it.

He told me that it "took for ever" between 290 and "299" or whatever.

Last summer I did 285 the car was rock solid at that speed, but above 270 the window (or rather the door) on the driver side started to leak, at 285 it sounded like the door was open didn't know what it was, got scared and eased off the throttle (very slowly I should add) :-)

It has been said before, but I saw an calculation concluding that these cars need about 330 rwhp to reach true 300 km/h.

Was the near 300KPH picture taken on the road or perhaps on a rolling road/dyno with mo wind resistance. (May explain why no seat bealt was being worn???)

Just my 2p worth
