Post Help in finding the right car

Hi all,

I am writing in the hope of finding that elusive 964T. Thought that you guys would know where to find one (any leads would be appreciated) - my only "strong-ish" preferences are for something below or around 50k mls and not too far from stock. I have some "softer" preferences with respect to color ext/int and model year but will forego these for the right car. Pls help point me in the right direction

Cheers
Ian

Check Rennlist Classifieds, Porsche Club of America Classifieds, Porsche Owners Club Classifieds, and your local PCA region classifieds. All of these can be found on-line.

The request for a stock car is something that I don't understand - are you concerned that a modified car is going to be less reliable?

I do not consider low mileage necessarily a great thing either. Turbos need to be run regularly - that's my opinion at least.

All I am saying is that a low mileage/stock vehicle will cost you a premium that may not be justified.

Good Luck in your search.

JBH,

Thanks again for your input - I was beginning to feel that my post was going to go unanswered. I have been constantly reviewing those websites you mentioned and a few others across the country. I was really hoping for a car for sale that may have caught the attention of one of the members in this forum. You never know...

50k mileage and below and "not too far from" stock were only preferences. I just felt that the ability to start with a relatively clean slate might be a worthwhile learning experience and being a "non-turbo" p-car owner has made me subconciously obsessed about mileage - quite prepared to forego these preferences (within reason) for a really nice car though.

Cheers

Check out Cardiff Classics. I have not seen this car personally but the dealer has a good reputation in town. Good luck with your search.
