Default I suppose a formal introduction is in order

Hey There..

http://www.flickr.com/photos/51013145@N06/7124224019/

You have probably seen me whining about transports, but my car is here and I got some pics this morning.

The car is a 1992 964 Turbo, with about 50K miles on it.. It was previously owned by another rennlister, and he had done a ton of modifications to it.

Here is the list as far as I can remember

Engine reseal
Fabspeed headers and cat bypass
New Turbo
Bilstein PS10
New Brake Calipers
Regeared the transmission
Speedlines by The Master Jim with black centres
Lowered
Full Carbon Fibre Interior
All Rubber Seals Replaced
All rear lenses replaced
All wipers and wiper arms replaced
Worn leather replaced and new pieces added to vinyl parts
Momo PMS Steering wheel
All Gauges refreshed by Hollywood Speed
Rennline pedals
Short Shifter
New Carpets
Full Repaint
Clear Bra
Factory Splitter
WiFi EGT monitor
Laptop programmable ECU
Focal/Audison Sound System with Subs

Somewhere north of 400 HP

I am sure I missed some, but essentially everything on my "I am going to buy a solid car and over the next 5 years do a lot of work on it" list has been done.

I guess I am left with driving it

Looking forward to meeting up with the members here, just need to get the safety done this week.

All of the full size pics are hosted over on Flickr, just click on the pic to see full size.. Sorry about the wash job, it is frikkin freezin here this morning

Nah, don't like it. The car seems just too nice to drive it which defeats the purpose of buying these cars.

I would rather sell this car and buy something that shows it's age..

Of-course I like it who wouldn't..Gorgeous car now go out and spin some rubba

That's a sweet ride..... no need to drool over any Ferrari with a sweet 964 Turbo like that. Enjoy in good health.

Nice! Are those mud flaps behind the front wheels? Where'd you get those?

They are the mudflaps the 94's came with. I don't have the part number handy but it's available via search of this forum. They are an easy install on the 91-92 cars..they are readily available and inexpensive..A nice simple and worthwhile mod...

Sweet sweet machine. Photo's of the carbon interior? When you say factory splitter, does it have a part number and do you know where to source one? Are they aftermarket headlights too?

Will get some interior pics next sunny day, Flash and CF do not mix well.. As far as I know, the splitter was sourced from Porsche Motor Sports before they stopped making them (have a look at this post from the 964 forum https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...r-no-go-2.html). They have the part listed int the word doc at the bottom.

I forgot the headlights, they are aftermarket as well, they are Xenons.

It was only about 50 feet onto the dirt, and only for a short period of time

Screen Capture from the Dashcam on the way down to take pictures.. Early Sunday Morning, perfect road conditions, no traffic, and I am doing the speed limit.. and it was a good thing, check out the far left of the picture
