Actually now that I think of it there is another issue .... On a standard car there will be screws sticking out to mount the bumperettes (my car never had bumperettes form the factory). These ducts replace all that so to mount them you would have to cut the mounting bolts off for the bumperettes. Of course the problem with that would be that in order to ever go back to fog lights wiht bumperettes you would have to remove your bumper and replace the mounting pieces with new ones. So depends what your plans are for the car.

Thanks for your massive amount of help Flach.

Well I guess my last post does not apply to you then ... but for anyone else they should be aware of this before they purchase front ducts.

Hmmm I see that ... if you search for Aerodynamics - 964 - Turbo S - 1993 you will see the part listed as:

Brake cooling air intake system for 964/965
replaces original foglights
Art.-No: 064100180009 (no photo).

These are not the ducts with foglights (which are also listed on the same page).

These are the ones I had on before I bought some ducts with integrated fogs.

I will try to install these. I think I would have been screwed had you not helped, DANK!

Those look like factory ducts. The two holes on the inside of the duct port are for mounting a metal debris blocking screen (fyi - there never was a Porsche part number for these screens - they can be self fabricated out of black semi-rigid speaker grill screen - just bend it to wrap around the exterior of the port on the inside of the duct and use two small screws to hold it in place).

Also that looks like a factory bumper. And to mount those ducts someone had to have cut the bolts for the bumperette mounts.

Yes, there is some tinkering involved as I can see on the mounting points. I believe the screen was glued, can't remember to well but yes you're spot on. Haven't looked for my wiring yet but hopefully its not completely gone.

The Racing Dynamic ones for 964s are made by MA Shaw, I believe. I remember seeing a post on the 964 forum about them. According to the post the lights are non-align able.
