Default Air screw adjustment

Can anyone give me a starting point for setting the air screw on the throttle body (number of turns out from closed)? Thanks!!

You have to check and/or set the mixture first. If the mixture's too rich or lean, you won't be able to get to the correct rpm.
My car's mixture is set to 14-14.5:1 afr. Then I set the idle speed to 900 rpm.

I guess I may not have been clear. I'm looking for a 'ballpark' setting for the mixture screw, so I can try to start the engine. I'll set the mixture with the meter once I get the engine running, but now the screw's been turned so much I don't know which way to go with it.

Clockwise enrichens the mixture.
If your car doesn't start it's most likely set too lean. Turn the mixture screw a little at a time clockwise until it fires up, then set to 14.5:1.
