It's insurance renewal time and I need to set an agreed value.
This used to be easy as Turbo 3.6s would regularly come up for sale in New Zealand, but there seems to be a pause in the ownership turnover out there.
Looking on the Internet doesn't seem to help. What is the current market value for a Turbo 3.6 with 60,000 miles in other markets, particularly right hand drive?

A pity you drive on the other side of the road because at $55,000 I'd be looking at a second one for the garage.
For others reading, are there any RHD or European market prices out there you can share?

John,
I took a bid of £76,000 from Hong Kong last year which escalated towards £100,000 before I decided to keep mine. HK is the prime buyer at the moment so I'd test that market for your value

HK? What the heck, for many years cars were coming out of Asia, not to it. Maybe this is the new order i.e. New World taking the Old World's toys. I will check with my HK colleagues.
Not on topic, but I've been eyeing up Astons in the UK for my 50th. The prices and the exchange rate make them very attractive. Would never sell the Turbo 3.6 though.

Who is this Uncle Wong dude? I nearly bought this car in 2009. It was 36k miles and was totally original, and I mean totally (including clutch). It was basically a garage queen. Went for £33k I think. Great shame if its no longer in the UK, lovely car.
