my advice is to bring a different car to the drag strip . I cant say as I have ever really tried to run a hard launch on any older 911 I have owned. It jsut does not feel like the car likes to be launched hard in first. I certainly run it hard after its moving. I seem to racall on old post that advised 5,000 RPM and let it rip... Gary Bello runs 'em hard! I will be interested to see if others have any thoughts. In any event, I bet you have a great time!

Totally agree! I definitely don't want to break the car by hard launching it and it definitely does not feel like a drag car. Would like to hear from some people that have taken these to the strip. I'm sure someone has

Also, Anyone replace there interior lights with LED's? If so, Where did you source them?

So went to the dragstrip today. What a blast! I can see why that could be addicting with the right car. Cannot wait to get the car out onto a track and rip some corners up.

Car handled the strip well. I did not launch it very hard in first. My best time of the day was a 13.8 @ 101mph. pretty damn fun

First thing this morning.. Cars and Coffee

A few hours Later!
