Mark do you have info on all the Brunei cars ; if not i may be able to get more.
Do you have any photos of the under hood option code sticker from an X88 car - perhaps from yours?

Anthony - i looked closer at that speed reading & then realised it is MPH whereas my Brunei
turbo was delivered with KPH speedo & changed later to mph in the UK. Although RHD i think
all the Brunei turbos came with KPH

Mark - i believe my interior was the same as th e one in your picture
- pic of the label below
- PS470622 is a turbo coupe but does not have X88 on its options list
Some cars were retrofitted with X88 etc

I see makes sense. Although in the US we are supposed to have the speedo reflect actual mileage so when I brought cars over from Europe in the 1980's I had to have the MPH speedos adjusted to read the calculated miles from KPH. There is a place in California that did this for me.

So who knows how many miles on this car unless there is documentation. Still a great looking turbo.

1. Thanks for the photo.

2. I would like to verify the VF color code (it's the only one I have not verified) as cobalt blue ... or not. The photo I linked to that I know was cobalt blue has a different option code because of the special seats. Your color looks much different to me than that cobalt blue but maybe its just the light/photo quality.

3. 'PS' would be a 3.3 Turbo coupe. I did not have that bit of info before ... it would not be possible for it to have the X88 option.

4. There are only 11 unaccounted for X88 engines ... while not entirely impossible it is highly unlikely to come across a car that was retrofitted with a factory issue X88 engine. Proof would have to be provided to verify such a claim.

1. Would be great to get more verifiable X88 cars for the site.
2. This is a photo of cobalt blue. So ?? VF = cobalt blue = your photo = this photo? Hmmm ...?
3. Earliest production X88 car was after PS series ended - all are RS VIN's.
