I am excited as we are going to step out of bounds over the standard normal metallic silver I use when I restore the 3.6 Turbo wheels. I just painted a Daytona center for a 993 narrow body and used the GT2 color Stahlgrau "steel gray" 61W and it is a great color. Jim jdorociak@gmail.com Tell me what you guys think.

Hi!
I'm about to spray my wheels an desperately look for 61W Steel gray.
Does BMW or Audi have the same code or paint?
Have a hard time locating this...
Anyone know more about it?
Thanks
/Peter

The original Speedlines are certainly hard to find. We offer the RH 3.6 which is extremely similar.
If you you do find a set of original Speedlines, we also offer rebuild services using RH barrels since many of the parts cross over. We have spoken with Porsche Germany to get OE Speedline parts and they are completely out of sealing rings and OE bolts so we have been doing it with the RH pieces. Same look with availability. However, not for purists

993 Turbo, C2S C4S - is a wide body 993 car and as such should have 11" or wider rear wheel. The stock 3.6 Speedline Turbo wheels are 8" and 10" so you would need 1" spacers on the rear to fit your car. jdorociak@gmail.com jim

The RH 3.6 Wheels do no require wheel spacers for the wheels to fit close to the fender without poking beyond the fender. I like to use the term flush ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
We use different size inner and outer barrels for each vehicle to determine the final offset of the wheel.

Gents,
I was perusing one of the Porsche Classic Parts catalogs, it looked as if Porsche had reissued the Speedline 3.6 wheel with polished centers, p/n 96536213601 and 96536214001 Price was around $8K for the set.
Has anyone checked on availability?

Yes they can be purchased new and the last time I checked 45 days ago they were close to $9000 for a set of polished 3.6 Turbo wheels. jdorociak@gmail.com jim
